BRO-AM Beach Fest is an annual celebration that gives back to the San Diego Community. Surf contests, free concert, numerous vendor booths… all to celebrate community and to raise awareness and funds for local youth organizations.

This year’s event will welcome back the 7th annual Rob Machado Bro Junior Surf Contest. Open to youngsters ages 16 and under, the Rob Machado Bro Junior places a premium on the competitor having the most fun. Kids sign up to enter at the Solana Beach Surf Ride location, compete on one of Rob Machado’s boards, and stick around for the day’s festivities.

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Junior Seau Foundation Adaptive Surf Program Presented by Challenged Athletes Foundation
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Surf Joust Expression Session
12:00 – 5:00 PM: Live Music: SWITCHFOOT; Jamtown ft. Donovan Frankenreiter, G.Love & Cisco Adler; Adam Friedman; 91X Battle of the Bands Winner

Proceeds from 2017 BRO-AM events support local youth initiatives with these organizations: VH1 Save the Music, Challenged Athletes’ Foundation, Feeding San Diego, StandUp for Kids, A Step Beyond, and Rob Machado Foundation.
