13 Dec Da Mole – Holiday Lights, Santa and Mulled Wine
Guido and I had a fantastic weekend drivin’ da vespas around to see all da beautiful holiday decorations! One of our good friends lives on Candy Cane Lane in Poway so we headed over there last night to check it out.
Boss, it was spectacular!! All da homes were decked out to da nines! We expected just to drive around da community, but it was so beautiful, we couldn’t help but to park da bikes and walk around with all da other families!
I am so happy we did! Some of da neighborhood children were givin’ away free holiday treats, and acceptin’ donations for da Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Over da past 9 years, they have collected more than $15,000 in donations!! Boss, that’s what I call a real win/win!
If you are lookin’ to get into da holiday spirit, I highly recommend checkin’ out some of da amazin’ communities that host these great events! For more information on where to find these communities, please click here.
Are your kiddos lookin’ to see Santa? Then head over to da 4S Ranch Library on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. My sources have uncovered that da 4S library will also have a small craft for da kids and snacks. While supplies last.
Don’t forget to bring your camera if you would like your child to have his/her picture taken with Santa!!! For more information, please click here.
My next tip for yous guyz is that PigTails & Crewcuts in Del Sur is offerin’ a free pair of fashion earrings with every ear piercing.
This deal is only good through Dec. 31st and can not be combined with any other offer! For more information, please click here!
How does enjoyin’ da magic of da holiday season with a glass of wine sound? Then my next tip is right up your alley! Head over to da Bernardo Winery December 18 – 23 from 4pm – 9pm for Holiday Nights!
Enjoy a romantic carriage ride around da vineyards, sip hot mulled wine, enjoy carolers and music nightly in da Bernardo Winery village. A Holiday Shopping village of local artisans and crafters will be open nightly in da lower parking area near Manzanita Roasting Co.
The Tasting room, Cafe Merlot, V’s Coffee and the winery village shops will be open til 9pm. Da village shops will have unique items for holiday gift giving and many of the shops have locally made products. For more information, please click here.
In da spirit of giving, my final tip is for yous guyz lookin’ to make a donation to help those affected by da wildfires. I’ll kick this out to my reporter on da scene, Adina Morfoot for more information. Take it away, Adina.
Hi e-Weekly Readers! The San Diego Foundation has activated the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund to collect and manage charitable funds for the response and recovery from wildfires currently impacting da San Diego region, including the Lilac Fire. Donations can be made online HERE or by texting “SDRecover” to 50155 via mobile phone.
The fund will receive donations and make grants to nonprofit service organizations engaged in disaster recovery and rebuilding. Funds granted through the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund will be based on a community needs assessment that leverages third party data, research and analysis to determine where the greatest needs are within the region. If you are able, and looking to make a charitable donation this holiday season, this is a great opportunity to help our fellow Californians!
Da Mole is Out!
